 In the Beginning (1882-1922)
In the former medical clinic, with its abundance of original documents and photographs, the exhibits trace the village's first forty years.
“IT STARTED HERE”- See the many FIRSTS – the flag, “Hatikva” (national anthem), Hebrew school and kindergarten, “Keren Kayemet” (JNF), and more.
 
“Artisans’ Way”
The first pharmacy, now an imaginary street, depicts persons from the past at work. Authentic tools and utensils invite you to experience the life once lived here.
In the pharmacy’s cellar discover what it was like to be a pupil in the first Hebrew school in the world. In the reconstructed classroom wearing the compulsory Turkish Fez, hear stories about the difficult times the pupils had back then. In the inner rooms the laundry basins and soap, kerosine lamps, ice-cream machine and coffee grinder invite you to “Touch the Past”. The smell of the past is everywhere!
Dress as one of the pioneers for a nostalgic photo and souvenir of your visit.
 
“Roots”
Exhibits in the building that housed the medical clinic and, later, the post office, are:
Family Album – computerized interactive media exhibit which records the history of the pioneer families and their descendants. Touch the screen!

Farmyard
In the yard are some of the agricultural tools, ploughs and handseeders used by the settlers. Trees and fruit crops have been planted, recalling the variety once grown.
 
Bet Schalit
The Schalit house, reconstructed and preserved, brings daily life in the village alive! Walk through the study, dining room, kitchen and bedroom with its furniture and household utensils authentic to the period. In the original living room and entrance you'll find "Founders’ Hall”, commemorating the founding fathers, whose deeds and courageous pioneering efforts are honoured.
 
“Clothing of the Firsts”
Displaying the fashion trends from the olden days presented according to original photographs, the exhibit invites you to stroll among the settlers, dressed as in the past, with he scenic views of the village in the background.
 
Stable
In the backyard of the Schalit home, you’ll find the conserved and restored stable and  Diligence” Coach which made its daily way along the sandy, unpaved roads to Jaffa.
 
The Village Well
Lack of water was the foremost problem. After 7 months of intensive digging, water was finally found at a depth of 48 meters. Take a peak and try to see the bottom.
 
Pioneers' Way
Walk along “Pioneers’ Way" and follow in the pioneers’ footsteps. Your walking tour includes Founders’ Square”, the Great Synagogue, Haviv Hebrew school, Heisman and Yaacov Kanner houses, Community HallWater Tower,the Village Well and Carmel wine cellars. Conclude your visit with a stroll and picnic in the beautiful Village Park with its impressive “Avenue of the Palms”.
